MEA Announcements
Networking - Connecting a Marine's Talent to Job Opportunities -
The Marine Executive Association (MEA) continues to advance its mission to support our Marines and veterans through ongoing networking opportunities. Recently, MEA hosted one of its regularly scheduled luncheons at the Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA.
With each and every gathering it is truly amazing to observe the talent that is departing our military service. Interaction between employers and recruiters to transitioning service members - MEA advances that interaction and resiliency associated with one’s transition. More importantly, we greatly appreciate Lester Niblock’s leadership coordinating each of these gatherings at Quantico, VA.
Aside from great introductions and networking, we had a request from the Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General’s (OIG) advocating that transitioning service member consider (OIG) opportunities at www.dodig.mil/careers
Disabled American Veterans (DAV) provided great insight into its ongoing support to service members and emphasizes contacting your local Transition Service Officer (TSO) to better understand your benefits

Again, MEA continues to “give back” through volunteerism and we were honored to have several former and current MEA President’s on hand attending this gathering - Vonzell Mattocks, Tim Murphy, John Beiswanger and John Bridges.
Remain part of the family and stay connected. The Marine Executive Association is a national, volunteer, non-profit organization of former and current active duty Marines. Our membership is composed of Marines from all ranks and MOSs who have agreed to contribute their civilian job hunting and hiring experiences to fellow Marines. We provide assistance to Marines and veterans transitioning from active duty to reserve/retired status, leaving the Corps at the end of obligated service or moving from one civilian career to another.
